Principles of Construction
PTFE plate rubber bearings (abbreviated as PTFE sliding plate bearings) are made by bonding a layer of 1.5mm-3mm thick PTFE plate on the surface of ordinary plate rubber bearings. This design enables the support not only to have the vertical stiffness and elastic deformation capacity of ordinary plate rubber supports, but also to achieve unrestricted horizontal displacement of the beam end through the low friction coefficient (μ f ≤ 0.08) between the PTFE plate and the stainless steel plate
