The working principle of laminated rubber bearings mainly includes the mechanism of action under vertical loads, horizontal forces, and beam end rotation. Under vertical load, the steel plate embedded between the rubber sheets will limit the lateral expansion of the rubber, thereby increasing the vertical stiffness of the support and ensuring reliable transmission of pressure from the upper structure to the pier. Under the action of horizontal force, the rubber between the steel plates undergoes shear deformation, allowing the support to adapt to the horizontal displacement of the beam end. When the beam end rotates, the rubber support automatically adapts to this rotation through uneven compression inside and outside, ensuring the stability of the structure. |
